It was a hot ride into Weatherford where Billy was waiting. We connected at the hotel and after stowing my gear we rode to the RFTW registration van where Billy signed up. Then to dinner where we feasted on Salmon and told a few war stories and lies. Tomorrow we'll be protecting each other's flanks as we chew up the miles and dance with 18 wheelers, not too dissimilar when we protected each other's flanks in Vietnam as brother 9th engineers 42 years ago.

Billy - Cousin Suzie brightened the day by hanging out with us for a little while and giving us the nickel tour of Weathford. Its a nice little town. I might have to buy me a spread there and move my longhorns up from south Texas.
