The June and July temperatures this year here in Borrego Springs have been in the triple digits just about everyday.
Summer came early, so we are looking forward to our departure date of July 15th. This year we have plans to be away for four months, but as always, our itinerary remains flexible.
We are now deep in the process of staging our gear, doing OpChecks, and final map reconnaissance to meet our objectives.
On the morning of July 15, we cross the line of departure, heading north along the California coast to Monterey, where we will setup at the Monterey Pines RV Camp, United States Naval Post Graduate School (http://www.nps.edu).
Monterey is one of our favorite places to visit and camping on the Naval Post Graduate School is a very special privilege and honor.
